The American Football Alumni Bowl scheduled for January 2009 will feature the most elite players from Division I FCS, D-II, D-III, & NAIA colleges.

The game is to be held every year on the First Saturday of the month of January in California.

The game will be televised and the players showcased in front of professional scouts giving them ample opportunity to be considered for a professional career.

All proceeds derived from the game are used to award scholarships to high school students (not currently on a scholarship) intending to play football at a D-I FCS, D-II, D-III or NAIA institution.
